Infared and Optical Pyrometry
Scope of Accreditation

    Process Instruments provides the highest quality calibration and repair to L&N Optical Pyrometers and Rayotubes. Our pyrometry standards, acquired from Leeds & Northrup's calibration lab when L&N moved from its North Wales facility, are characterized by NIST, assuring the highest accuracy.  Optical pyrometers can be calibrated up to 3500°C (6400°F)

    Infrared thermometer calibration is performed with an Isotech spherical blackbody furnace, a near – ideal source. Higher temperature infrared calibration is performed with a Mikron blackbody source.  Near ambient temperatures are checked with an Electro-Optical blackbody, accurate to 0.02°C.
